The end of the year is fast approaching and Christmas is nearly here. We’re looking forward to spending the holiday season with friends and family and hopefully enjoying a few sunny beach days to recharge the batteries. We’ve asked a few of our team to share how they’re celebrating Christmas and their Wallace Cotton staff pick for summer. Still need bits and pieces for Christmas? Q+A with Damian, Wallace Cotton GM

Q: How are you celebrating Christmas this year?
A: This year I imagine will be a little quieter than next. We will be celebrating Christmas with a little luxury getaway and just the two of us before there are three of us with our daughter arriving in Feb. The day will probably start with a traditional English brekky, followed by a stroll on the beach (and hopefully a surf) before getting stuck into preparing a late loooong lunch. Boxing Day will be same but different - still eating and drinking but with lots of our great mates. I love Christmas for this and how it brings people together. Happy Christmas to you and yours!

Q: What’s your Wallace Cotton staff pick for summer?
A: Pool House Towels. I’ll be surfing and swimming as much as I can this summer and our Pool House towels are perfect for after a dip in the ocean. Great to have a stack at the bach ready for friends to use and they make easy Christmas gifts too.

Q: How are you celebrating Christmas this year?
A: We'll have an early morning watching my son, George, open his presents followed by Christmas lunch with my family and then a BBQ for dinner with the in-laws.

Q: How are you celebrating Christmas this year?
A: This year we’re opting for less of the traditional, wanting a more relaxed Christmas Day with family getting together at our favourite beach for some fun in the sun and yummy food. After all, Christmas is about being 'together'.

Q: What’s your Wallace Cotton staff pick for summer?
A: Maldives Bed Linen. This beautiful palm tree bedding has been eagerly awaited by everyone on our team. Made from sustainable organic cotton in cool blue and white tones, the design reminds me of the beach and relaxing on holiday.
