What’s your job title?
Warehouse Manager
How long have you worked at Wallace Cotton?
3 and a half years in May.
What are your key tasks?
My key tasks are to oversee and manage all the operations of our warehouse to make sure everything runs smoothly. This includes picking and dispatching orders for online customers, for our stores, for trade and wholesale customers. Receiving and counting in stock from our suppliers, driving the forklift, replenishing shelves and keeping the warehouse tidy and organised which helps us keep the stock numbers accurate. Making sure all stock is correctly scanned into a pick face to ensure no stock gets lost and left out of orders. And looking after our awesome team.
What do you love about your job?
Having a great team who always go the extra distance to achieve great results. Working hard as a team, we have set and broken multiple records for the amount of online orders sent out in one day. I love the work life balance offered by Wallace Cotton, the support from our GM, and the amazing atmosphere we have created in the warehouse.
