Nothing says Christmas quite like decorating your home ready for the festive season. We think a fresh pine tree is the best Christmas tree for authenticity and the beautiful aroma it gives off. Waiting until the first weekend in December to purchase a fresh tree (and watering it regularly) will ensure it’s still looking it’s best on Christmas day. If you can’t wait that long, start decorating other areas of your home with festive touches. Add a beautiful wreath to your front door or entry way, place Christmas decorations and candles throughout your living areas and hang stockings and Santa sacks to build the excitement. Michelle’s Tips for Styling a Christmas Table

I love Christmas and the chance to host friends and family for fun times leading up to the big day, and then entertaining a crowd on Christmas Day. Follow my table styling tips to create a beautiful table for festive hosting, then relax and enjoy the silly season too!
Table Styling Tips:
Choose a classic tablecloth and matching fabric napkins as the base to your table styling. This year, I’ll be using our Merry Little Christmas collection as a beautiful place to start.
Make sure your table has enough seating for everyone you’ve invited and have a couple of spare chairs and place settings on hand in case of unexpected guests.
Place large arrangements of greenery down the centre of your table for a fresh and festive look.
Style layers of different sized candles throughout the table including fragrant pine and spice scented candles perfect for Christmas.
Add a little sparkle to your table with our Snowflake or Bell napkin rings and Star tea light candle holders.
Add plates, cutlery for each course and glassware for both sparkling water and wine.
If you’re feeling super creative, homemade name placecards are a lovely, personal touch.
