Our most-loved bee design

The designs for our collections are always inspired by nature. Whether it’s a colour palette, a floral or botanical design or a simple motif that represents nature, we love all things natural. Our collections are crafted from the finest natural and sustainable fabrics and we care deeply about designing pieces to make every day more beautiful for our customers. The design of our bee motif was created in-house to celebrate Mother Nature’s busiest little helper and from 2019 onwards, has regularly featured in our collections. A firm customer favourite

Our first bee collection was our Beehive Kitchen range in 2019. But it wasn’t until we created our first Bee Embroidered cushion cover that we realised how much our customers loved our bee! Featuring a bee motif in gold embroidery on charcoal velvet, our Bee Embroidered cushion cover quickly sold out, requiring a re-order with an ever growing customer waiting list. We took note and made sure to order plenty more cushion covers the following season. Since then, our sweet little bee has featured on linen tea towels, numerous cushion covers, velvet bath bags and kitchen ranges.

A note from our designers

Every season we look to nature for inspiration for new designs to feature on cushion covers, kitchen and bathroom ranges. We've created collections featuring palm trees, Scottish thistles, native birds and crowns, but the most popular design every season by far has been our bee motif. Our bee motif is a simple yet classic design that has created a dedicated and passionate following. Hand-drawn and painted in-house, we play with colour and texture for the best result. Once our design has been finalised, it is printed or embroidered onto our products ready for our lovely and bee loyal customers.

Take a sneak peek at our new bee designs coming for autumn 2024. Our bee features on three cushion covers, a new linen tea towel design, velvet jewellery wraps, a napkin set and new coasters. The cushion covers are our Bee Garden cushion cover featuring a single coloured bee inside a botanical border with a charcoal velvet reverse. Our Bee Swarm Embroidery cushion cover with bees in flight on charcoal velvet with a natural linen reverse and our Bee Embroidered cushion cover featuring a single bee in coloured embroidery on natural linen with a charcoal velvet reverse.
