These terms and conditions govern the use of the Wallace Cotton website including shopping and participation in promotions run by Wallace Cotton. You can access this Agreement at any time from the footer of the website.

We may change these Terms at any time, and changes will be posted on our website. By continuing to use our websites and platforms and/or purchasing goods or services from us, you continue to agree to these Terms and are bound by any changes to them.

Placing Orders

When you place an order with Wallace Cotton, you can be confident that you are buying from a NZ owned company.

Due to photographic and screen limitations, actual goods may differ to a small extent in visual appearance from the way they appear on our website.

Any information contained on our website constitutes an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to supply any goods or service. When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy goods or services.

Products may be edited or removed from our website from time to time. From time to time products that are displayed on our website may not be available. Wallace Cotton does not accept liability for any loss arising. We make our best effort to keep the information up to date and accurate.

To order goods, add them to the shopping cart and proceed through the checkout process on the website. You will be required to provide delivery and payment information, and other information about your order. If this information is successfully provided, you will be led to a confirmation page with full details of your order.

We will send you an email to confirm that we have received and accepted your order and will take payment upon acceptance.

Wallace Cotton makes no offer in or by the website to sell any product to any country other than New Zealand. If you access this site from outside New Zealand, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for complying with the laws in place where you access the site.

Fair Use Policy

All goods and services offered for sale on our website, including those on sale, promotion or with any discounts on retail prices, are offered under our Fair Use Policy.

We reserve the right to place quantity limits on goods, discount limits per customer and maximum savings per customer.

These will be monitored for any suspected abuse of the Fair Use Policy. Persistent abuse of our Fair Use Policy may result in suspension or termination of your customer accounts with us.

Cancelling Orders

We reserve the right to cancel orders that we believe are fraudulent (including where we believe there may have been credit card or a payment related fraud) or otherwise breaches our Fair Use Policy. We may also cancel orders where there has been an error in the listing of the product (e.g. an incorrect price, incorrect stock quantity, image or description of a good).

If we cancel your order, you will be refunded in full. We make our best effort to refund via the original payment method, otherwise we will refund with direct credit. Prior to any such cancellation, we may contact you and discuss appropriate changes to your order.

You can request to cancel your order (or part of your order) for any reason unless it has already been shipped. If we are able to successfully cancel your order before it is shipped, you will receive a full refund of any payments you have made for that order. If your request has arrived too late, and your order has already been processed to be shipped, we will not be able to cancel the order.

Unless specified otherwise, all prices listed on our website are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST. Please note that prices may change at any time for any reason. Delivery charges are listed separately in the checkout.

Gift Card Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions below specifically relate to the use of gift cards issued by Wallace Cotton, and not by any gift card resellers.

  • Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Any gift card, both physical and digital, can be redeemed online and in-store.
  • Any outstanding balance on the gift card after the expiry date has passed, is forfeited.
  • Once the gift card is used, any unused value associated with the gift card will remain on the gift card.
  • If your order exceeds the amount of your gift card, you must pay for the balance with an accepted method of payment. Only one gift card can be redeemed per transaction.
  • Gift cards are not refundable, returnable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be used towards the purchase of another gift card.
  • Gift cards can only be redeemed in the same currency they were purchased in.
  • You are not allowed to transfer, re-assign, or re-sell gift card.
  • Balance information on gift cards can be identified on the website, or in-store.
  • Loyalty points are not earned on the purchase of the gift card, but are earned on the redemption.
Delivery of your Order

Online orders can only be delivered to New Zealand addresses. Lead times and delivery costs for goods may vary. The displayed delivery time on each item indicates an estimated delivery date or time and this subject to change.

After placing your order, you will receive an email that confirms your order has been dispatched with relevant tracking information (when available).

To guarantee delivery, you must provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours. We will not be liable for late delivery where attempted delivery has occurred on or before the relevant delivery timeframe, or where an inappropriate form of delivery is selected for the goods purchased.

For any orders that are not delivered due to being lost or damaged, please contact us and let us know the details of your order and delivery. We will use this information to make a claim against our courier company. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund, once we have received confirmation from our courier company that delivery was not successful.

‘Click and collect’ may be available when checking out on our website. Where it is available, you can select the store or collection point you want to collect your order from when you place your order. Orders are usually ready for pick up within 1-3 business days from when the order was first placed. We will provide you with a collection reference that you’ll need to bring in store to collect your order. Please wait until you have received confirmation your order is ready before attempting to collect your item(s) as it may not be on site, ready to collect.

Where we are holding your order in store for pick-up or collection, we will only hold your order for a maximum of 30 days after we have notified you that it is ready for collection. If you haven’t collected your order within this time period, we reserve the right to cancel and refund your order against the same payment method used when placing the original order.

Cotton Club

Cotton Club is a loyalty programme run by Wallace Cotton. Refer to our Cotton Club page to learn more and to join our loyalty programme.

Loyalty points are earned on full priced purchases only, in-store and online.

You must be signed into your Cotton Club account while shopping online to ensure points are recorded at time of purchase.

1 point is earned for every $1 spent on full priced items, in-store and online.

Points expire 24 months after purchase date.

Reach 500 points to receive a $50 Cotton Club voucher.

The 10% voucher for your first purchase only applies to full priced items.

Cotton Club loyalty vouchers expire 6 months from date of issue.

Cotton Club vouchers can be redeemed in-store and online.

No loyalty points are awarded for purchases of Starship products, furniture, sale or discounted items.

OTHER POINTS TO NOTE:

Check your points balance and voucher status online by signing into your Cotton Club account. Click on ‘my details’ at the top right corner to view points balance and voucher status.

To receive a birthday voucher, enter your date of birth and email address correctly into your Cotton Club account. On your birthday, you’ll receive an email notification that your account has been issued with a birthday voucher which can be spent in-store or online.

Birthday vouchers expire one month after the date of issue.
