Bed sheet size
It’s important to know the size of your bed so your sheets fit properly. A fitted sheet which covers your mattress needs to be the same size as your bed for a snug, smooth fit. A flat sheet can be the same size as your bed or larger, depending how deep your mattress is and how much coverage and drape you prefer. Bed sheets are available in single, king single, double, queen, king, super king and Californian king. Our sheets are designed to fit modern deeper mattresses with a 45cm depth and have double stitched French seams in the corners for extra strength. Most of our sheets have an approximate shrinkage allowance of 3% for the perfect fit.
Bed sheet colour

What is included in a sheet set?
A sheet set is a cost effective way to purchase bed sheets. A sheet set usually includes a fitted sheet for over your mattress, a flat sheet to sleep under and matching pillowcases.
What does a fitted sheet mean?
A fitted sheet is the sheet that covers your mattress. A fitted sheet is designed with elastic hems on all four sides which naturally tuck under the mattress to keep the sheet in place on the bed.
Do you sleep under or over a fitted sheet?
You sleep on top of a fitted sheet. You sleep under a flat sheet or top sheet.
Are flannelette sheets warmer?
Yes! Flannelette sheets are the warmest sheet made from cotton. Brushed cotton flannel or flannelette sheets are made by weaving fat cotton yarn into fabric then brushing the surface to create a soft fluffy feel, just perfect for warm, snuggly winter beds.
Bed Sheets Caring Tips
Our bed sheets are made from beautiful natural fabrics which makes them easy to care for. We recommend washing all our sheets, whether they are made from cotton, organic cotton or linen in a cold machine wash using a gentle laundry detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners and do not use bleach. Line dry in the shade where possible as too much sunlight will ‘cook’ your bed linen making it difficult to iron. Warm iron.
Caring for flannelette bed sheets
Flannelette bed sheets need special care when it comes to washing and drying. Our tips are to shake flannel sheets before laundering to remove loose fibres and dust. Use a cold machine wash and warm tumble dry to remove excess lint, (it may take a few washes to get completely lint-free). Be sure to regularly clean out the dryer filter as it will fill up fast with flannel fluff - don't be alarmed by the volume. Shake each flannel item after drying, before folding or putting on bed (best to do this outside). Avoid laundering flannel with dark bedding or clothing.
